About the role:

• Take ownership of a succession handover and lead the Estates practice end-to-end (strategy, quality, client outcomes, growth)
• Advise on complex estate planning including bespoke wills, testamentary trusts, enduring powers of attorney and related documents
• Lead probate and estate administration matters within a fixed-fee, high-volume, high-care service model
• Partner with the tech team, product and operations to refine workflows, lift conversion, and improve the client journey at scale
• Mentor Junior lawyers, set the technical bar, and build a high-performing specialist team

The ideal candidate:

• Partner or Senior Special Counsel with deep Wills, Estates, probate and succession planning expertise
• Commercial and confident leading a practice with measurable growth targets
• Obsessed with client experience and comfortable delivering advice in a modern, tech-forward model
• Pragmatic leader who can blend premium legal work with scalable delivery and strong risk management
• Warm, credible, and able to build trust quickly with both clients and internal stakeholders
