About the role:

• Act for key government clients on complex public law disputes, including merits and judicial review proceedings in the AAT and Federal Courts
• Deliver strategic advice on administrative decision making, FOI, privacy and broader public law issues
• Take early ownership of files with close support from senior public law specialists in a genuinely collaborative team

The ideal candidate:

• 1 to 8 years PAE in government litigation or public law, from a reputable firm or in-house team
• Solid experience running matters and drafting persuasive advice and court documents
• Confident working with large briefs and modern document management / e-discovery platforms
• Academically strong, proactive and genuinely committed to building deep public law expertise
• Clear, confident communicator who enjoys collaborating, supporting juniors and bringing a positive energy to the team
