About the role:

• Own and manage a high-volume probate and estate administration practice
• Handle complex, non-standard estates, including lost, informal, or international wills
• Prepare and manage NSW Supreme Court probate applications and requisitions
• Apply technical judgement, assess risk, and determine escalation thresholds
• Lead, mentor, and drive quality across the probate team
• Oversee team output, standards, and growth contributions
• Serve as final authority on complex matters

 

The ideal candidate:

• 5–10+ years’ high-volume probate and estate administration experience
• Strong NSW probate expertise, including Supreme Court requisitions
• Skilled in managing complex, unusual, or imperfect estates
• Proven ability to run and review large probate volumes independently
• Leadership experience, mentoring or guiding a probate team
• Exposure to trusts or trustee-managed estates highly valued
• Detail-driven, pragmatic, risk-aware, and tech-curious
